Job Overview

VBridgeIT Inc. is seeking a skilled and results-driven Sr. IT Technical Consultant with expertise in Workday Timekeeping, Absence, and Scheduling to join our client engagement team. This is a short-term contract role supporting a recent migration from Kronos to Workday. The ideal candidate will partner closely with HR Operations and IT to deliver effective solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with HR Product Owners and technical teams to solve complex issues within Workday Timekeeping, Absence, and Scheduling.
• Provide input into product priorities using data from stakeholders, industry best practices, and customer feedback.
• Ensure Workday configurations align with global standards and integrate seamlessly with other systems.
• Use Lean principles to design, launch, and assess innovative technical solutions.
• Work closely with in-house teams and external vendors to resolve incidents and build system knowledge.
• Act as the go-to for troubleshooting and resolving issues independently.
• Effectively communicate status updates, solutions, and key concerns to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience working in matrixed environments with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in the software development lifecycle and lean product principles.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Sharp analytical and critical thinking capabilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
• Comfort working in a feedback-driven, high-accountability culture.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of IT experience with a focus on diverse technical domains.
• 5 years of experience in global Workday HR implementation projects.
• 3 years of experience with Workday US Payroll.
• Proven track record with end-to-end Workday Timekeeping, Absence, and Scheduling deployments.
• Strong skills in Workday reporting.
• Workday Configuration Certification is a plus.
• Experience with Static Scheduling is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting multicultural, virtual teams across time zones.

Nice to Have

• At least one full-cycle Workday deployment focused on Timekeeping, Absence, and Scheduling.
• Familiarity with Static Scheduling.
• Certified in Workday Configuration.
