Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst for a contract role to support Finance modules including AP, AR, GL, and Universal Journal. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and programming methods and systems to consolidate and analyze structured/unstructured data from diverse sources. Your work will generate actionable insights and drive product enhancement initiatives.

As a key member of the team, you will:

• Design, develop, and implement methods for analyzing data to support product and service teams
• Build data products for analysis and work closely with product and service teams to identify questions and areas for improvement
• Develop software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from various sources
• Identify and communicate meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources to business managers
• Perform root cause analysis, problem-solving, and continuous improvement through trend analysis and data evaluation
• Ensure data transmissions for completeness and accuracy, with an emphasis on validating data changes related to finance products
• Lead efforts in process improvements and collaborate with various internal departments

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Expertise with AWS, Data Analysis, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Profiling, and STMs
• Proficiency with Databricks, AWS EMR, ETL tools, SQL, Python, and Snowflake
• Knowledge of SAP Finance Modules including AP, AR, GL, and Universal Journal (Required)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clarify technical details for diverse audiences
• Ability to meet and exceed deadlines while managing multiple tasks
• Experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving
• A keen eye for detail, especially for validating data changes and maintaining audit trails

Responsibilities:

• Manage data flows related to Finance modules (AP, AR, GL, Universal Journal)
• Perform root cause analysis, problem solving, and continuous improvement for data processes
• Validate data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring data changes align with business requirements
• Maintain a positive audit trail through accurate data changes
